Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy on all base non-customized coolers, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. A 38% restocking fee will be assessed to your refund total.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at todd@prairieroadironworks.com. Please include any and all pictures of defects, and if there are any adhesion issues on your customized cooler. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 804 Prairie Road, Linn, KS 66953
If your return is accepted:
- You are responsible for the shipping and handling of the returned item. Original and return shipping fees are non-refundable. In order to make a return, please refer to our Return Policy above to ensure that your return meets the criteria stated.
- Next, notify us and then send your package back to us via the most economical shipping method of your choice. Please note your tracking number from your label.
- Once your package is received, please allow up to 10 business days for return processing. When your return is processed you will be emailed a notification once your return is received.

Customized Coolers
IF you would like to return a customized cooler, it is at the discrepancy of PRI also known as Prairie Road Ironworks whether there was an adhesion error in the manufacturing of your customized individual product(s) and if we will accept your product return. Please contact us directly at todd@prairieroadironworks.com and make sure you send pictures of any logo/image adhesion issues. We have a 90-day return policy for all customized coolers and stand behind all of our printing and customizations.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, any product on sale or clearance items.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
